How it works

Why the readings are right

Adding furigana is not about stacking the first dictionary reading: 日 reads ひ, にち or じつ depending on the word, and 市場 changes meaning between いちば and しじょう. The parser splits the sentence into words before choosing, using real reading-corpus frequencies, then applies counter, proper-noun and context rules. When a doubt remains, the reading is shown in amber rather than presented as certain.
